This Privacy Policy explains how Yomira (“we”, “the app”) handles information when you use the iOS app. Yomira is a pet body-language companion: you can photograph a dog or cat, receive a reading, chat with Kiki, and keep care logs on your device.
1. Information you provide
Depending on the features you use, you may provide:
- Pet photos taken with the camera or chosen from your photo library, for a body-language reading, a profile photo, or a care log (up to five photos per log).
- Text you type, including a nickname (2–20 characters), care-log notes, duration, and messages to Kiki.
- Optional actions such as saving a photo to your library or sharing a reading through the iOS share sheet.
2. How we use it
- To generate a reading (score out of 100, mood label, ears / eyes / tail / body / mouth / energy, watch-outs, and Kiki’s next step) from the photo you submit.
- To generate a Kiki chat reply from the conversation you send.
- To store readings, chats, care logs, nickname, and avatar locally on your device so you can open them later.
- To show in-app notices (“About This Feature” and “Chatting with Kiki”) before the first use of an AI feature.
AI processing uses a secure service. Content is used only to produce the on-screen result, then deleted on the processing side. We do not sell your photos or chat text. We do not use reading or chat content to train public models for other customers.
3. Storage
Readings, chats, care logs, and profile fields are stored on your device (local database and sandbox files). They are not uploaded to a Yomira account server as part of these features. If Auto-save readings is on (the default), each new reading is kept in your Pet Archive automatically. If you tap Save to Photos or Share, iOS handles that transfer under Apple’s system permissions.
You can erase local product data with Me → Settings → Delete Account. Sign Out clears the sign-in session and leaves local readings on the device.
4. Permissions
- Camera — take a pet photo, profile photo, or care-log photo.
- Microphone — used when you take a pet photo for a body-language reading.
- Photo Library — pick an existing photo for the same purposes.
- Photo Library Add — only if you save a reading image to Photos.
- App Tracking Transparency — if shown, only to measure advertising campaign performance. You may tap Ask App Not to Track. Readings, chat, and care logs work without tracking.
Yomira does not request Location, Contacts, or Health data for these features.
5. Analytics and advertising measurement
The app binary may include campaign-measurement SDKs. If you allow tracking, device identifiers and product interaction may be used to measure advertising performance. If you decline, we do not use that tracking path for advertising measurement.
6. Children
Yomira is intended for pet parents and is not directed at children under 13. Do not submit photos of children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Not veterinary care
Readings and Kiki replies are observational aids. They are not a diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for a licensed veterinarian. If your pet seems unwell, contact a veterinarian.
8. Payments
This version of Yomira has no paid items. We do not collect payment information in the app. Readings and Kiki chats are included.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
